TMSA students are closing the learning lossFriday, September 9, 2022, Triad Math and Science Academy (TMSA) Public Charter School is celebrating the historical academic growth that its students have accomplished. Based on the 2021-2022 NC State Standardized test results, TMSA’s growth score has been announced as 93.4 by NC DPI, as one of the highest school growth scores in Guilford County and the State of NC. Out of 156 Public/Charter Schools in Guilford County, TMSA scored the 3rd Highest
Out of 204 Charter Schools in the State of NC, TMSA scored the 12th Highest
Out of 2676 Public Schools in the State of NC, TMSA scored the 170th Highest

“Nothing excites us more than seeing our students and school community grow with such a great momentum. We believe in teamwork at TMSA and it has paid off! said Mrs. Diane Burke, TMSA Elementary Campus Principal. Mr. Ben Karaduman, the TMSA Schools’ Superintendent stated that he was very proud of the entire student, staff and family involvement at TMSA and added “This is a true American Saga, as our students have proved how resilient they could be against all the challenges the pandemic has introduced.” “We believed in our students, academic interventions and the TMSA Learning Community! “said, Mr. Kandil, Main Campus Principal. “and the results speak loud and clear” Principal Kandil added.


It was amazing to see how responsive TMSA students were to all the resources and opportunities that the dedicated TMSA teachers offer to them. Our students took advantage of every opportunity, from Saturday school to after school tutoring sessions, from additional online synchronous remedial teaching classes to a three week long, comprehensive summer reading and mathematics camp and closed the achievement gap caused by the Covid 19 based unfinished learning. Congrats to the entire TMSA Learning Community!” Kandil continued.

TMSA-Greensboro is a public charter school offering a rigorous STEAM Education and has been operating at its full capacity since its inauguration in August 2008. Currently, TMSA has been serving 1320 K-12 grade level students.
